End-of-Year Extravaganza!

The winner of the End-of-Yea Extravaganza ELA pack is Across the Hall! Here's the random number generator to prove it : ) An e-mail is coming your way!
If you're sad that you didn't win, don't be because I have logged many hours on my couch the past few days and the End-of-Year Extravaganza Math pack is done and posted!

This one took forever to post because it was so large but it is FULL of fun games, centers and activities!  Leave a comment below and I'd be happy to give away a FREE copy!

I also updated our 2nd grade Pacing Guide that we have been using this school year.  I know many states/districts are making the switch to Common Core next year and seeing examples of how other schools pace the standards helped us tremendously! If you missed our pacing guide the first time around, here's the updated version!

If those look too blurry to you, you can download a copy from google docs, HERE! You will also see a phonics pattern for each week under the Reading column. We planned out a year of phonics instruction but have since moved to using Words Their Way (WTW).  With WTW the students take a spelling test to determine which pattern their instruction should begin with, so we don't use these but I figured I'd leave them just in case others might want a plan to get an idea of what you could use.

  11. looks great. I really like the pacing guide. I'm trying to update ours based on what we discovered worked or didn't work this year. Hoping that the county doesn't change much on us.

  17. Wow! Your pacing guides look fantastic! So excited about your Math End of the Year Extravaganza, especially the Math Movers! I just printed the Spring ones today and will be doing them within the next two weeks! My second graders would be so thrilled to have one more to do! I think your day has more than 24 hours in it with how many awesome things you are able to make!

  20. The curriculum map looks amazing. Can you send me an editable version of it? Our district has us teaching certain things at certain times of the year and would like to move stuff around a bit. Thanks!
