Fall into 4th Grade Math!

I am about a month late with these centers and games but that seems to be how my life is going these days.  Thanks so much for your kind comments and well wishes on our big news. We are so excited, I'm just hoping to feel more and more like myself soon. I actually can't believe I'm still awake this late! I know Thanksgiving is next week but I have been working on these for a month now and HAD to get them posted!  I plan on using them this week and a little bit after Thanksgiving break.  My 4th graders LOVE math games so these will be huge hit!  The games focus on place value, multiplication facts and a little addition and subtraction thrown in too. You can click on either picture below to check them on on TPT!

Want to win a free copy?  Leave a comment with a guess of my favorite Thanksgiving food and the first person to guess correctly will win!  I'll pick a winner by tomorrow night!  Hope you have a stress free couple of days before Turkey day!

UPDATE: Thanks for all your guesses, my favorite Thanksgiving food is sweet potato casserole (although mashed potatoes and pumpkin pie are tied for 2nd).  An e-mail is coming your way Cherie!

Take Me Back Tuesday!

Hi Everyone!  Hope over at Second Grade Shenanigan's is hosting a new linky party and I wanted to join in on the fun! Take Me Back Tuesday is when bloggers can highlight an oldie but a goodie post from the past. Click on the image below to check out some other great ideas!

Since Thanksgiving is coming up, here's an easy activity to practice adjectives but also get your turkey on! We all know those last few days before break a quick and easy activity is just what we need! : )

I told them they could use adjectives or character traits to describe their turkey.  They are pretty good with adjectives but character traits are harder. I also told them they could use black crayon so we could see their words better but as you might notice some flat out refused.  They love pencils and more so, erasers : )  Hope you enjoy them!

If you're looking for more Thanksgiving fun, check out these Thanksgiving themed packs!  These are both oldies but goodies! I'm also working on a late fall pack for 4th graders too that I hope to have finished by the weekend!

We're Growing!

I know I have been pretty MIA these last few weeks and I can finally reveal why!  My sweet husband and I are so excited to announce that we are expecting!  I would like to promise that I will get better about posting but the first trimester has really been rough.  I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed that I get some energy back during the second trimester!  I want you to know that I am still here and I am still teaching, my bedtime has just been changed from around 11:00 to 7:30 : )  But, I am so happy to finally share the news!
