I am trying very hard to stick to making a unit a week to gather materials in order to teach the new common core standards. I just finished up Unit #4 which incorporates a lot of Reading Informational Standards and non-fiction text! This is my biggest ELA unit yet and I think they just keep getting better! Click on the picture below to check it out!
If you need some ideas to help teach the new standards check out my other ELA Units here they are in order (most are FREE)!

Dear Deana~
ReplyDeleteI just had to say a big, huge, massive, gigunda THANK YOU for the schedule cards. That one thing has lightened my deadly daily list of "Things To Do" and I soooo appreciate it!
LOVE
Deb
Thanks so much Deb for your kind words! I am so glad they have been helpful to you! : )
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! What a treasure I have found tonight! I just finished reading Poppleton's Fall and Winter books with my class. Now they can do a literacy center on their own. AND, we just read Henry and Mudge as our basal story this week. Such great ideas for everything. THANK YOU for sharing your creativity.
