Shop till you drop!

I fully took advantage of the great teacher appreciation week sales on TPT this week and I have been furiously laminating, cutting and assembling some really great resources.  I tried to focus on what I'll be working with for the new common core standards and units next year.  Here's the rundown!

I started with the Pint Sized Presidential Fun {Math and Literacy Mini Unit} by Cara Carroll for our unit on American Freedom.

I've had my eye on this little unit, All About Biographies by The Teacher Wife.  I think it will be great to teach biographies next year in literacy and in writing. I have several other things from her and just LOVE her work. 

Then I went for a cute little fraction review craftivitiy with Fraction Pizza by Amy Lemons.  We already completed this one this week and my kiddos loved it.  They were actually pretty funny, I guess I have downloaded quite a bit from Mrs. Lemons and when I was giving them the things to cut out they kept asking,  "Who is Mrs. Lemons? We see her name all the time!"  So, I said she was a teacher who created activities for 2nd graders.  Several of them commented back that she must be cool because her activities are so much fun and her name is really cool too.  I thought it was really cute!

Also by Mrs. Lemons, I bought her Swimmin' into Summer Centers, Butterflies and Frogs Life Cycle Fun, I Can Measure! and What's the Probability? What can I say, I really like her things! : )

I have been thoroughly impressed with all my purchases and I have to say I'm glad the sales are only every so often otherwise I would spend most of my paycheck on TPT resources!
